India and Pakistan agree to open a cross border point

Islamabad, India and Pakistan agreed to accelerate steps to open a new border point at Kart Abor, a sign of further normalizing the tense situation between the two South Asian neighbors, it was reported here today.

The delegations of the two countries who met at the Indian village of Atari to review a draft agreement to open the border point, also agreed to hold the next round of negotiations in the Pakistani border point of Waja in April 2019.
