For the best interests of fishermen and seafarers, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, directed to reduce the prohibited zone to the northern area only, mentioned in red in the attached map.
Fishing and other boats are allowed to sail in the banned area from four in the morning to six in the evening.
This decision allows boats to sail and return around the clock if they are outside the prohibited zone.
