Internationally wanted individual arrested, returned to Bahrain

As part of international coordination and cooperation to fight crimes, the International and Interpol Affairs Directorate at the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security has got back an internationally wanted individual, 44, who was convicted in several cases in Bahrain after taking the relevant legal procedures.

The directorate coordinated with friendly countries after a Red Notice was issued against him by the International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) based on Bahrain’s request. To implement the rule of law and after coordination with the Public Prosecution and the Verdicts Implementation Directorate of the Interior Ministry, the convict was referred to the concerned entity to serve his sentences.
