Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, received here today Sunni Endowments Council Chairman, Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Hajeri, and Jaffari Endowments Council Chairman, Yousif bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
The minister was congratulated by Dr. Al-Hajeri and Al-Saleh on His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s trust, by appointing him to his post.
The minister praised the great interest of HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving houses of worship and keenness to prepare them to enable worshippers to perform religious rituals easily and comfortably.
The Justice Minister affirmed his keenness to provide all forms of support for endowment development projects, valuing highly the role played by the boards of directors of the Sunni and Jaffari endowment councils in serving, building and maintaining houses of worship.
The meeting also focused on the institutional development of endowment affairs, in addition to ways to enhance joint cooperation.
