BAGHDAD, The Ministry of Justice announced the issuance of a new issue of the Iraqi Gazette , which included several decrees of the Republic, including the appointment of Barham Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq and the referral of former President Fuad Masum and his three deputies Nuri al-Maliki , Osama Al-Nujaifi and Iyad Allawi to retirement.
"The new issue of the Iraqi Gazette was issued today, number 4512, which included several republican ceremonies approved by the House of Representatives and ratified by the Presidency of the Republic."
"The number included Republican Decree No. 71 of 2018," said the Director-General of the Department of Iraqi Gazette, Hind Abdul Jumaigh, in a statement. "The appointment of Barham Ahmed Saleh as President of the Republic of Iraq, in addition to Presidential Decree No. 72 of 2018, referred Mohamed Fuad Masoum Khadr to retirement.
She added that "the number also included a presidential decree No. 73 of 2018 to refer Nuri Kamal al-Maliki, Vice President of the Republic to retirement, and Presidential Decree No. 74 of 2018 to refer Osama Abdul Aziz Al-Nujaifi Vice President of the Republic to retirement, and included a Republican Decree No. 75 of the year 2018 referring Ayad Hashem Allawi, Vice President of the Republic to retirement.
