Kadhimi Renews The Government Commitment To Hold Elections On Its Scheduled Date

Baghdad  During his meeting with members of the High Electoral Commission, Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi affirmed that the government renews its commitment to the elections date scheduled for June 6, 2021.

Al-Kadhimi affirmed that early elections are the mission of our government, the people’s demand, and the October Revolution.

He confirmed that what the commission needs in terms of holding the elections on time, ask them now, to be presented to the Council of Ministers at the nearest session, so that all your demands that lead to this historic task of our government are approved.

Al-Kadhimi affirmed that the voter registry is a great challenge, and that work must be done around the clock in order to provide the requirements for the success of the elections .

Al-Kadhimi confirmed that he issued a directive to all ministries and state institutions to remove obstacles and bureaucratic procedures before the Elections Commission .
