Today, the people are waiting for us to provide them with the necessary services and to build the country," he said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA).
"We, thank God, have received the support of most of the political forces and MPs to take the post of Speaker of the Parliament, directing a last call for all to commit to submit candidates tomorrow to resolve this file and move to other files."
"We know that there are wills that will try to demand a postponement of the session, and another is going to disrupt the quorum, but we are also certain that it will only be true, and many good forces will be pushed towards the national interest and the choice of one who has political and popular acceptance and has a clear political and national history."
