Khalid Bin Hamad reviews means to develop Bahraini sports with CEO of Information and eGovernment Authority

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, has today received in his office at Al Wadi Palace Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, the CEO of the Information and eGovernment Authority.

 

The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, the CEO of the General Sports Authority.

 

During the meeting, HH Shaikh Khalid welcomed Al Qaed and conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HM’s wishes to all members of the authority the best of luck.

 

His Highness reviewed with the Information and eGovernment Authority Chief Executive the plans of the General Sports Authority to support sports entities, in a way that contributes to the implementation of His Highness’ goals and aspirations to translate the directives of HM the King to advance the sports sector.

 

HH Shaikh Khalid and Al Qaed discussed a number of issues related to the authority’s projects to enhance support and electronic link policies in the implementation of administrative procedures aimed at strengthening the governance system to meet the goals of Bahrain Vision 2030.

 

On his part, the Information and eGovernment Authority Chief Executive expressed gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid, praising His Highness’s distinguished efforts and contributions to the development of the sports sector. He added that the Information and eGovernment Authority welcomes the consolidation of efforts and partnership with the General Sports Authority to support the advancement of the Kingdom’s sports movement.
