Labour Ministry’s efforts to provide employment for citizens highlighted

(BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, today received the member of the Council of Representatives, MP Mohamnmed Al-Amer, with whom he discussed the Ministry’s plans and programmes to employ the citizens, as well as develop its social care programmes and services for the beneficiary segments.

The minister affirmed the continuity of the Labour Ministry’s efforts to employ the national job-seekers thanks to the facilities provided by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to ensure the success of its projects, especially regarding the policies to support wages at the private sector and provide training for job seekers to equip them with the necessary professional skills.

These efforts have contributed to the continuity of such efforts despite the exceptional circumstances the world is currently going through, Humaidan said.

MP Al-Amer praised the projects and programmes implemented by the Labour and Social Development Ministry to provide the requirements of decent living for the citizens, affirming the Representatives Council’s support for all efforts aimed at providing the best services and ensuring the citizens’ easy access to them.
