Manama, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the International Day of Charity, observed worldwide every September 5.
Speaker Fawzia Zainal lauded HM the King’s directives that have contributed to highlighting the kingdom’s status and role in consolidating and promoting charitable and humanitarian work, expressing her pride in Bahrain’s landmark achievement in all fields related to humanitarian, charitable and voluntary work at the local, regional and international levels.
She indicated that the International Day of Charity is an important opportunity to promote fraternity and foster the values of humanity among the members of the same community and across the world.
She underlined the Representatives Council’s support for the Royal Humanitarian Foundation and all the relevant charitable institutions and entities, as well as its keenness to harness all potentials to promote all forms and aspects of humanitarian and charitable work in the best interests of the nation and the citizens.
