Long electoral day in Mount Lebanon’s district amidst a tranquil atmosphere

Ballot boxes closed at 7:00 o'clock this evening in Mount Lebanon's fourth district, including Shouf and Aley, in preparation for initiating the voting count phase.

The long electoral day took place in a calm atmosphere, with the voting turnout reaching 53% in Aley and 50% in Shouf, as per Minister Marwan Hamadeh's electoral machine.

The number of voters in said district included 321,256 residing in Lebanon and 82,900 expatriates, with 13 electoral seats over which six ballot lists were competing.
