"Loyalty to Resistance" bloc on Thursday held its periodic meeting at its headquarters in Haret Hreik, under the chairmanship of bloc head, MP Mohammed Raad.
The bloc discussed most recent developments on the local arena.
In a statement issued in the wake of the meeting, the bloc well-wished the Lebanese, in general, and Christians, in particular, on the occasion of the holy Christmas, hoping that Lebanon would surpass its present ordeal with the cooperation of all of its sons to address the recent internal crisis.
The Bloc also called for the formation of an effective, productive government comprised of competent specialist candidates with a humanitarian and patriotic sense, which would work systematically to address the financial, monetary and economic crisis and to manage the country's wealth in a way that enhances national income and attracts positive cooperation within the framework of preserving national sovereignty.
The bloc also urged the Lebanese to exercise calm and wisdom as they express their convictions or objections, and to preserve civil peace and internal stability, through avoiding cutting off roads and leveling insults against citizens.
