Moussawi meets with Palestinian delegation: We all have an interest in confronting targeting of Palestinian cause

"Loyalty to the Resistance" Parliamentary Bloc Member, MP Nawwaf al-Moussawi, met Saturday with a delegation of the Palestinian coalition forces in the area of Tyre in South Lebanon, with talks centering on the Palestinian cause and developments in the region.

Moussawi stressed on the need to focus on thwarting the "conspiratorial project targeting the Palestinian cause, known as the deal of the century."

He said: "The purpose of this project is to turn the Palestinian people living in the West Bank into prisoners with a limited autonomy...and of course it aims at strangling Gaza and eliminating the will of the resistance."

"This is part of the deal of the century that does not stop at the Palestinian issue, but also aims to consecrate the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights and the remaining Lebanese territories still under said occupation...and settling Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and Syria," Moussawi added.

He emphasized that re-settlement is categorically rejected by the Palestinians themselves before being refused by the Lebanese or Syrians.

"We all have an interest in confronting and thwarting the deal of the century, and we believe that one of the ways to deal with this issue is the formation of a government led President Michel Aoun," Moussawi underlined.
