New AMA International School premises opened

Manama, Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al-Khalifa patronized the opening of the new premises of the AMA International School. He also laid the foundation stone for the Athena School for students with special needs in Isa Town.

The Ceremony was attended by the Special envoy of the Philippine President to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz and Education Minister Dr, Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Rashid Al-Khalifa expressed delight at opening new school building and laying the foundation stone for the Athena School for students with special needs in Isa Town.

He paid tribute to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa for his keenness on developing human resources and investing in education and training.

He commended the crucial role played by the private sector in setting up schools and educational institutions, hailing the officials in charge of the AMA International School for their initiative to open a school for students with special needs.

Education Minister Dr, Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi also paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing the royal support to investing the private education.
