"Barzani received a British delegation that included Jones Lorimer, the British Military Advisor to the Middle East, John Wilkes, the British Ambassador to Iraq, and Martin Warr, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan region, during which the meeting highlighted the current situation and developments. and to ensure that the post-election political process is the focus of all parties and that everyone cooperate to form a national government as soon as possible and solve all problems. "
During the meeting, which was attended by Fouad Hussein, head of the Office of the Presidency of the Kurdistan region, the assessment of the situation in the region and discuss a number of issues related to the situation in the Middle East.
"We thank the British government for the assistance it has provided to the Kurdistan region, especially in the field of reform and reorganization of the Peshmerga," Nichervan Barzani said, referring to the relations between Erbil and Baghdad.
For his part, the British delegation expressed "readiness to help the Kurdistan Regional Government in the area of reform."
