Committee member Kata Al-Rikabi said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): The security situation in Baghdad and any Iraqi governorate is not achieved by increasing the number of security forces, because the current security forces are sufficient to protect Baghdad, but security is achieved if there is keenness from the military leaders to provide it.”

Al-Rikabi explained that security breaches from time to time exist in Iraq and any country in the world, pointing out that the Security and Defense Committee continuously hosts security leaders, urging them to avoid all the gaps in their sectors, and many of them seek this matter, indicating that security is achieved with cooperation and integration between the various security forces in Baghdad, Diyala, Kirkuk, Salah al-Din, Mosul and Anbar. ”

He pointed out that ISIS is trying as much as possible to establish a presence in Iraq, so from time to time it launches terrorist operations, but the security forces are in control of these attacks. ”
