Parliament’s Session Starts

BAGHDAD, Head of age of the House of Representatives, Mohammed Ali Zinni opened the session of the parliament to discuss Basra events in the presence of 160 MPs.

NINA correspondent said that "the attendance of MPs to the parliament session are from Sa'iroon alliance, Nasr coalition, Iraqi Forces coalition, and Watania with a few MPs from Fatah and state of law.

"Abadi will inform the House of Representatives of a series of new resolutions to deal with the crisis in Basra," MPs told NINA.

He added that "the personalities involved in the Basra crisis, which is scheduled in parliament so far, the governor of Basra, Asad Eidani only."

Later, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, Interior Minister Qassim al-Araji, Defense Minister Irfan al-Hayali and health Adila Hamoud and water resources Hassan al-Janabi attended the special session of Basra province.
