Political Pressures Still Continuing On Abdul Mahdi To Pass A Number Of Parties’ Candidates Within The Ministerial Cab

BAGHDAD, MP of Sauiroon Alliance Abbas Aliawi confirmed that there is political pressure continuing on the designated Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi to pass a number of parties' candidates within the ministerial cab.

"A number of political blocs are still continuing to exert pressure on designated Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi to get a number of ministries within the new ministerial cab," Aliawi said in a statement to NINA, added, "these parties seek to gain ministries to achieve partisan benefits without achieving public benefit. "

He added that "Abdul-Mahdi will submit part of his cabinet to the House of Representatives on Wednesday to vote on it."

He stressed that "the designated prime minister refused to comply with the pressures that are trying to postpone the formation of the government and will provide his cabin according to the conditions set by him."

Informed parliamentary sources announced that the voting session on granting confidence to the new cabinet, which Prime designated Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi intends to present to parliament will be held on Wednesday.
