RCO holds meeting

Manama The Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)’s Board of Trustees held today its second periodic meeting for 2020 during which it announced a new package of long-term and short-term strategic projects in the charity and humanitarian field.

Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees Chairman HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM the King, the RCO Honorary President, for congratulating him on the organisation’s winning the Best Arab Charity Organisation award which was granted by the International Federation of Arab Achievers during the first Creativity and Excellence Forum, in Egypt.

HH Shaikh Nasser paid tribute to HM the King for his tremendous support to charity and humanitarian work and to the orphans, widows and needy people in Bahrain. He also commended the royal support to the afflicted brotherly and friendly countries, lauding the great support accorded to RCO by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa. He also praised the unflinching support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, lauding the dedicated efforts of the members of RCO Board of Trustees, the executive management and all affiliates.
