Manama, The Council of Representatives has extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, marking the International Workers’ Day 2022, observed worldwide on May 1.
The Council also lauded the landmark accomplishments attained by Bahraini workers, under HM the King’s comprehensive development march.
In a statement marking the occasion, the Representatives Council extended congratulations to workers at various work sites, paying tribute to them for their contributions to supporting all sectors, particularly their major role in ensuring the success of the Economic Recovery Plan.
The Parliament underlined its support for making Bahraini workers the first option for employment at the public and private sectors, as well as for Bahrainisation of jobs, training and professional development programmes and protection of Bahraini workers’ rights.
