Riadh Al-Masoudi to / NINA /: 5 essential observations in the current year budget that require its dissolution

Baghdad  Member of the House of Representatives for the Saeron coalition / Riyadh Al-Masoudi affirmed that the current year’s budget has five fundamental observations that require dissolving them in order to ensure their approval during the coming period.”

Al-Masoudi said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the current year’s budget contains a fair number of essential notes, foremost of which is a deduction from employees’ salaries ranging from 8 to 40% of the total salary, and the second note is a large financial deficit of up to 70 trillion dinars. ”

He added, “The third observation is not to allocate new job grades, and therefore there is no vision for the government in this area. The fourth observation is that the amounts of operational expenditures related to commodity services and maintenance are very large, amounting to 45 trillion dinars, and we are indispensable. The fifth note is the government’s continued request for internal and external borrowing. ”

He expected that the budget will be voted on, if these observations and others are agreed upon, for a period ranging from 30 to 45 days.

The House of Representatives yesterday completed the first reading of the current year’s budget, which consisted of 58 articles. It is scheduled to start its second reading tomorrow, Monday.
