Royal Order to honour late football player praised by Muharraq Governor

Muharraq Governor, Salman bin Hindi Al Mannai, has extended sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, marking HM’s Order to name the road adjacent to the headquarters of the Muharraq Club after the late player of the National Football Team and Muharraq Club, Ahmed bin Salmeen, noting that Bahrain is always proud of its citizens who have left their imprints on its progress march.

The governor affirmed that the kind royal gesture is not surprising, noting that HM the King is the first athlete in the kingdom, the supporter of the national progress march in all fields and is always keen to honour the citizens who contribute to the kingdom’s leading role in culture, literature, politics and sports.

The governor conveyed thanks, appreciation and gratitude to HM King Hamad from the late Ahmed bin Yousif Salmeen’s family, and the Muharraq Governorate’s citizens.
