The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Lebanon, Dr Hamad Al-Shamsi, on Tuesday urged all sides to support Prime Minister-designate, Saad Hariri, to form new government capable of ensuring the country's stability and economic rise.
Ambassador Shamsi's words came in the wake of his visit to North Lebanon Mufti Sheikh Malek al-Shaar at the latter's residence in the northern city of Tripoli, in the presence of religious scholars.
"Delay is not in favor of anyone," Ambassador Shamsi maintained.
The UAE envoy also stressed the dire need for the presence of moderate religious figures, citing the example of Mufti Shaar, underlining that the true Islamic religion is that of moderation that respects all faiths and takes into account freedom and national coexistence.
"Our message is always a message of love, tolerance... and a message of peace," Shamsi corroborated.
