Shura Council Chairman hails Bahrain’s strides

Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Salah Al Salah hailed Bahrain’s achievement in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He paid tribute to HM the King, lauding the royal drive to promote peace, coexistence and the culture of human rights in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He said that Bahrain’s strides are the results of HM the King’s sound and far-sighted directives and thekeen follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

He made the statement on the eve of the International Day of Conscience, observed on April 5, following an initiative from late HRH the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

Al Saleh commended the role of the legislative and executive branches of government in dealing with local issues, stressing the importance of Bahrain’s initiatives and contributions to maintaining regional security and stability.

He also praised the role of the Government, chaired by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for fostering the culture of tolerance, citizenship and the respect of others’ rights.

The Shura Council Chairman underlined Bahrain’s approach in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and holding the vaccination campaign, setting up a model to emulate for peaceful coexistence.
