Manama, Shura Council President Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for announcing the Bahrain Diplomatic Day, which falls annually on the 14th of January.
He lauded the royal initiative which, he said, honours the dedicated march of Bahrain's diplomacy over the past decades to enhance the Kingdom's international standing.
He lauded HM the King's keynote speech during his meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Kingdom of Bahrain and other ministry's senior officials.
He praised Bahrain's balance diplomacy which long marked the Kingdom's foreign policy. In dealing with challenges and crises, in compliance with international laws norms and conventions.
The Shura Council President hailed Bahrain's diplomatic achievements and role in protecting national gains and interests abroad, in implementation of HM the King's vision advocating good neighbourliness, dialogue, stability, peace, tolerance and coexistence between all people.
