Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, chaired the 8th Coordination Council meeting in its 3rd session of 2021. The virtual meeting was held in the presence of Deputy Southern Governor, Brigadier Isa Thamer Al Dosari and representatives of various governmental institutions.
HH the Southern Governor welcomed the audience, lauding the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the services sector. He pointed out the Southern Governorate’s keenness to optimize services for citizens in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
HH the Southern Governor got informed about compliance with the precautionary measures to promote health and community awareness in curbing the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19). He underlined the importance of adhering to the safety measures put in place by the national medical taskforce to combat the virus.
HH the Southern Governor was also informed about infrastructure projects being carried out across the Southern Governorate, including health ones.
