Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, extended most sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the successful visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
She praised the first-of-its-kind visit describing it as an exceptional historic milestone which further anchored the royal approach and vision of promoting global peace, tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
The Speaker also commended HM the King’s patronage of Bahrain Dialogue Forum: East and West for Human Coexistence in which scholars, intellectuals, religious clerics and preachers took part. She said that the forum had embodied the most sublime image of religious coexistence, dialogue and tolerance incorporated in Bahrain’s National Action Charter and constitution.
