Manama: Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal extended deepest thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa marking the Royal Order adjourning the second session of the fifth legislative term.
She commended the directives of HM the King, the architect of comprehensive development in all fields that bolstered Bahrain’s standing.
She commended the democratic strides and constructive and fruitful cooperation between the legislative and executive branches during the second session of the fifth legislative term in serving national interest and fulfilling citizens aspirations.
She lauded the cooperation of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, praising the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, which led to key national achievements despite the challenges of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
The Speaker commended the level of cooperation and coordination with the Shura Council, chaired by Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, which helped enact laws, highlighting the lawmakers’ efforts during the second session of the fifth legislative term.
She also extended thanks and appreciation to Minister of Parliament Affairs Ghanim bin Fadhl Al-Bouainain, praising the role of the national press and media in covering sessions and highlighting parliamentary activities and efforts.
