Stage set for International Paralympic Badminton Championship

Manama, The stage is set for the first international paralympic badminton championship, which will kick off on Monday and run until May 21.

Bahrain Paralympic Committee joined hands with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation to organize the tournament, being held for the first time in the Middle East.

More than 180 players representing 33 countries are set to take part in the championship, which will be held in Hall D of the Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa Arena.

The Bahrain Paralympic Committee called on the public to attend the competition, scheduled to be held daily from 9 am until 9 pm.
