Suhail: Great Pressure Exerted On Abdul Mahdi To Grant Ministerial Posts To Non-Qualified Figures

BAGHDAD, A member of the House of Representatives for Watan bloc / homeland / Hisham al-Suhail said: "There is a great pressure exerted on the designated Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi to grant ministerial positions of figures are not eligible."

Al-Suhail said in a statement to NINA that "the new Prime Minister cannot accept the attempts of some political blocs to impose the names of incompetent figures, some of them have files of corruption and others imposed on him to receive ministries," expressing his belief that "the Prime Minister will be able to finish his mission and voting on new ministry during the specified period ".

He added, "We are as Watan bloc do not imposed on Abdul Mahdi and we do not want to get profiles, but there should be exceptions to some blocs to proceed with the formation of the government, because the full insistence may make it difficult to pass cabinet cabins.

The House of Representatives elected by majority mid-last week, the PUK's candidate Barham Saleh as President of the Republic, while the latter assigned Adel Abdul Mahdi to form the new government.
