Baghdad, "The presidential system is the only solution to eliminate quotas by all their names," said a member of the new parliament from the state of law coalition of Hisham al-Suhail.
"We support the demands of the demonstrators to turn the parliamentary system into a presidential one, which is the only solution to eliminate quotas by all their names," Suhail told NINA.
He added "the problem of implementation lies in the Constitution and some of its articles and two thirds of three provinces can cancel the referendum to change the Constitution and certainly most parties do not accept this because it will lose a lot of opportunities to fund through quotas."
Yesterday's demonstrators in Tahrir Square demanded through their slogans and chants to bring down the parliamentary system and adopt the presidential one.
