The Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, participated in the ministerial briefing session for the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, in preparation for the World Health Assembly in Geneva.
During the session, according to a statement by the Ministry, the most important health files of the countries of the region were discussed, which will be presented to the work of the World Health Assembly, the most important of which is the polio eradication program in the countries of the region, in addition to preparing for health emergencies and strengthening health systems in speed response.
The World Health Assembly is scheduled to begin its work in Geneva today, Sunday./End
