The Popular Mobilization Forces Announce A State Of Alert On Iraqi-Syrian Border

BAGHDAD The Central Operations Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Forces on Monday announced a state of alert on the Iraqi-Syrian border following the fall of sites for the "Syrian Democratic Force" within the hands of Daesh.

The Directorate said in a statement that "all popular mobilization forces on the Iraqi-Syrian border declared a state of alert following the recent developments in the region and the fall of sites belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces, in the hand of Daesh."

"The situation is currently under control and the popular mobilization forces in the western axis of Anbar are performing their tasks to the fullest extent," the statement said, added "We have been strengthening our units there in anticipation of any emergency and confront any movement of the enemy, .
