Trade Minister Leads A High-Level Delegation To Tehran

Baghdad  Trade Minister Alaa Ahmad Al-Jubouri headed to Tehran at the head of a high-level economic and trade delegation to hold talks with senior officials in Iran and attend the meeting of the Joint Higher Committee for cooperation between the two countries.

According to the “IRNA”, the visiting Minister of Commerce is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of 50 people, including the minister’s assistants and heads of chambers of commerce, and President of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce, Abdul Razzaq Al-Zuhairi.

The economic delegation intends to hold talks with senior Iranian officials. Among them is the First Vice President of the Islamic Republic, Ishaq Jahangiri, who chairs the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Economic Cooperation between the two countries, along with a number of ministers in Iran.”

“IRNA” stated that the Iranian ambassador in Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, accompanies the Iraqi delegation on its current visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. ”
