Transport Ministry: An earthquake of 5 magnitude was recorded near the Iraqi-Syrian border

Baghdad  The Ministry of Transport announced that seismic observatories at the General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring had registered an earthquake this evening in the eastern Syrian city of Hasaka.

The Ministry stated in its report: that the tremor was recorded exactly at 2:17:54 pm today, and its strength reached 5 degrees in the east of the city of Hasaka, which is 180 kilometers southwest of Mosul, where it was felt by the residents of Mosul.
