UAE’s efforts to end Palestinian-Israeli conflict praised

Manama,  The Representatives Council’s Committee of Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security extended sincerest congratulations to the sisterly UAE on the historical achievement and distinguished diplomatic effort to reach an agreement halting annexation of the Palestinian lands and ensuring continuity of the Arab initiative to reach a two-state solution and promote permanent and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.

The committee underlined the right of the Palestinian people to live in peace and prosperity on their territories according to the two-state solution. It also expressed keenness on continuous efforts to achieve peace and security in the region, calling on all to participate in reaching a just, comprehensive and permanent solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The committee affirmed that the Emirati step serves the interests of the Palestinian people and aims to boost tolerance and co-existence, pointing out that the Emirati role in supporting the Palestinian cause does not accept political outbidding and gain, especially from parties seeking continuity of the conflict in the region and working on undermining all peace opportunities as well as supporting terrorism and extremism in the region.
