UN Launches Response Plan to Fight Coronavirus with Cost of US$2 Billion

Geneva: The United Nations launched today USD two billion global humanitarian response plan to fight the new Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The plan includes delivering essential laboratory equipment to test for the virus, medical supplies to treat people, installing handwashing stations in camps and settlements, launching information campaigns on how to protect yourself and others from the virus and establishing air bridges and hubs across Africa, Asia and Latin America to move humanitarian workers and supplies to where they are needed most.
