President of the University of Bahrain (UoB), Dr. Jawaher Shaheen Al Mudhahka, has lauded the 25th Meeting of the Higher Education Leaders in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries, hosted by the Saudi Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) today.
In a statement following the meeting, Dr. Al Mudhahka expressed thanks to the GCC Secretariat-General and IAU for the tremendous efforts they had exerted to ensure the success of the GCC gathering.
She affirmed the importance of such meetings, as they contribute to exchanging academic and administrative expertise among the officials of the region’s universities, as well as strengthening communication among them.
UoB Vice-President for Academic Programmes and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Mohammad Reda Qader, participated here yesterday in the preparatory meeting of the event.
