Manama, The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has donated 2500 laptops to the University of Bahrain (UoB) needy students as part of the “Feena_Khair” campaign.
UoB President Dr. Riyadh Youssef Hamza extended deepest thanks to His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, RHF Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, for his initiative as part of the “Feena_Khair” campaign, which was launched in support of the national efforts to combat COVID-19 pandemic.
“The lofty initiative reflects the keen interest of Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and care for students, an all those who live in the Kingdom of Bahrain in general”, he said.
He commended the initiative which supports efforts to combat the pandemic and switch to online learning to ensure that citizens and residents stay safe.
“The “Feena_Khair” campaign has proven successful on the economic, social and cultural levels, and embodied the cohesion of the people of Bahrain and its residents” he said.
Dr. Hamza also praised the pivotal role of RHF Secretary-General, Head of the Coordination Committee, Dr. Mustapha Al-Sayyed, as well as the team working with him to ensure the success of the campaign.
